The park visit halfway through is the best illustration of the scale: the toddler watches through the car window as no fewer than three poodles greet each other on the grass, tails going, before the group settles onto a picnic blanket for a very thorough face-licking session. It's echoed later by a quieter version of the same idea, one poodle and one Maine Coon cat both dozing on a folding camp chair at what looks like the same park, sharing the cushion without complaint.
Indoors, the usual chaos shows up on schedule: a hallway reduced to shredded paper with two poodles sitting in it looking only slightly guilty, and a lizard encounter that has the orange Maine Coon leading the investigation while the toddler watches wide-eyed from a safe distance.
